Broadcast audio technology specialists HHB Communications has introduced a new range of Mogami Packaged Cables during the BVE London show at Earls Court 2 on Stand C40.
The high-quality cables will now be available from HHB in a single-cable package with terminated ends. The line includes a total of 46 cables: 4 x Reference Microphones Cables, 12 x Premium Studio Accessory Cables; 6 x Premium Guitar Cables, 3 x Premium AES/EBU Interface Cables; 12 x Analogue 8-channel multicore cables, and 9 x Digital 8-channel AES/EBU multicore cables.
HHB was awarded the exclusive distribution rights of Mogami bulk cables in the UK and Ireland last year and has already seen the product gain immediate acceptance throughout the recording, broadcast and post production markets. This is due in no small part to the strength, flexibility, low noise and ultra low-loss signal characteristics of the product. The new Mogami Packaged product line now offers the same high-quality cable in a variety of lengths terminated with Neutrik connectors.
Manufactured in Nagano Japan, Mogami cables are made with an extremely high level of attention to detail and efficiency, which results in one of the most reliable and cost effective cables in the world. Neglex oxygen free copper quad cabling, high-density shielding and conductive PVC layering are used as components in several of the cables to ensure transparency and reduced electromagnetic induction, making them unmatched in quality, accuracy and durability by competitors.
Mogami cables are truly a ‘Cable for Life’, backed by a lifetime warranty. The cables and connectors are hand soldiered rather than crimped, which also mean they are repairable. These are all made from Mogami’s bulk cable and assembled in the UK. The packaging material used for the packaged products is made from 90 per cent recycled materials.
HHB’s International Sales Manager Matthew Fletcher comments: “We are very pleased to offer Mogami products in a single-cable package. HHB is now able to offer an extremely high-quality cable to broadcasters, engineers and musicians. We have no doubt that they will become an essential element of studio and broadcast recording, as well as a standard cable for gigging musicians.”
Mogami Packaged Cables will be available from March 2012. Visit www.mogami.co.uk to learn more about Mogami Packaged Cables.
