The Dolby Hardware Rendering and Mastering Unit for theatrical applications is now available for sale at HHB Communications. Previously it was only available through a loan and licencing agreement between Dolby and the filmmaker.
Hardware Rendering and Mastering Unit
This is a dedicated unit for facilities creating content in Dolby Atmos for theatrical release. A certified and dedicated member of the HHB team will configure and test your unit prior to shipping to your facility. Once the unit is installed a member of the Dolby team will commission and calibrate your theatrical mix stage as part of the Dolby Atmos Premier Studio Certification approval process.
