Following a degree in electronic engineering Steve’s first job was making tea at the famous Trident Recording studios, this soon developed into the role of sound engineer after several years Steve joined the mastering team, and then moved to Utopia studios. From there a job at HHB beckoned, roll forward thirty years and Steve is integral to the development and success of the company overseeing HHB and Scrub businesses.
Mark first joined HHB in 1996 during his industrial year at the University of Surrey. After graduating from the Tonmeister course , Mark rejoined in the sales department. In 2008 he left HHB to join Dolby Laboratories, working with broadcasters to bring Dolby's technologies to various platforms across the globe. Then in 2018 the opportunity arose for Mark to rejoin HHB again as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Matthew joined HHB in 1997 and looks after several of HHB’s distribution brands as well as heading the HHB Sales Team. With a particular interest in new developments in the audio industry and their integration in video workflows, Matthew is the person to talk to if you are considering Audio over IP solutions or streamlining your workflows.
Andrew joined HHB in 2003, is part of the UK sales team and keen to help customers identify practical and cost effective solutions. An engineering graduate who has worked in professional audio throughout his career as a musician, R&D engineer, product specialist and sales manager, Andrew has in depth knowledge of studio technology and working practises. Andrew is the primary contact for broadcast and educational enquiries.
Sean Evans joined HHB in 2012 after completing a music tech degree and a few years working in several recording studios. He looks after a wide range of HHB customers in sectors such as Broadcast, Audio Visual, Systems Integration, Live Sound and Recording Studios. Sean’s broad range of knowledge spanning many fields of audio means he can bring a unique insight and fresh ideas when addressing customers’ audio requirements.
Sam joined the HHB Sales Department in 2018 having graduated from London College of Music with a degree in Music Technology and Classical Performance. Sam facilitates and supports the administrative side of the sales team and is always happy to be the first port of call for anything audio. When he isn’t working, you’ll find Sam recording, guitar playing and hunting down the latest craft ales!
A graduate of Thames Valley University’s Music Technology degree course, Nikki joined HHB in 2004. She spent several years managing the key relationships between HHB and its broadcast systems integrator customers. 2018 saw Nikki move to Scrub’s office as Head of Scrub Sales, taking on overall responsibility for the division's sales in the post production market. Outside of work, Nikki is a keen motorcyclist and car enthusiast.
Greg joined HHB in 2006, as a Sales Manager at Scrub he facilitates the audio needs of the Post Production community. With a background in Pro Tools, Greg is the person to talk to if you are considering upgrading or investing in a new Avid system. Away from HHB, Greg enjoys collecting vinyl, making music and playing video games.
Steve joined HHB in 2012 and works in the Sales Department at Scrub, facilitating the audio needs of the Post Production community. With a particular interest and experience in audio mixing and sound design, Steve is the person to talk to if you're considering purchasing or renewing a support contract. Away from HHB, Steve enjoys singing in a choir, long-distance running and yellow stickered discount food.
Ben joined the Scrub Sales Department in 2019 having graduated from the London College of Music with a degree in Music Performance and Recording. Ben provides administrative support to the Scrub team, helping out wherever he can. When he isn’t working, you’ll find Ben playing the drums, recording/making music, and going to as many live gigs as possible!
