The Shure SM27 is a compact large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a side-address cardioid pickup pattern. The low-mass large Mylar diaphragm provides superior transient response, while the extended neutral frequency range gives a natural clarity to vocals and instruments. Three separate mesh layers reduce wind and breath noise. The SM27 has a 15dB pad for use on high SPL sources.
