Avid will join HHB Communications on stand K45 at BVE 2018 as a co exhibitor at London, Excel. Together they’ll showcase their latest VR workflow featuring a setup including Pro Tools and an Occulus Rift VR Headset.
The latest 2018 version of Pro Tools HD, which will be on display and ready to demo, incorporates dedicated tracks and bussing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Order Ambisonics. The inclusion of this update allows third parties to create tools for 360 panning, binaural rendering and Ambisonics processing. This facilitates the production of 360 audio content for multiple delivery platforms, including up and coming VR inclusive platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.
With the new workflow aimed at anyone working with 360 processing, this gives Pro Tools users an exciting new vista of content creation and ease-of-use. With 360 content creation becoming an essential part of the standard production workflow, Avid recognises the necessity that this new workflow provides. EMEA Audio Pre-Sales Manager, Dave Tyler comments, “Avid are excited to be showing the new Pro Tools VR workflows at BVE, demonstrating the possibilities opened up in this latest release.”
The demonstrations will be available every day at BVE 2018 and trained staff will be on-hand to answer any questions regarding the latest version of Pro Tools, Ambisonics processing or 360 audio content creation.
The VR workflow is available to view at stand K45 with HHB Communications at BVE 2018 between 27th February and 1st March.
