Designed for live recording, the JoeCo Blackbox Recorder records up to 24-channels of audio at 24-bit and up to 96kHz as standard Broadcast WAV files onto a standard FAT32 USB 2.0 hard drive. The 1U rack-mountable device connects to standard mixing consoles via the Insert points, capturing the performance pre-EQ. As soon as the unit is connected to the desk it defaults to Armed For Record and a single press of Record will start recording, while further presses start new recordings enabling you to quickly identify song changes without interrupting the recording process. The Stop button must be held for two seconds to cease recording, ensuring no accidental end to the recording mid-performance.
