The Naga Mezzo is a high-quality handheld, solid-stage audio recorder that captures audio to an internal 8GB flash memory. It is capable of recording PCM Mono or Stereo audio wav. files at up to 24 bits 96 kHz sampling rates, in addition to MPEG or MP3 for longer recordings. Up to 40 hours of operation is offered by two “AA” batteries. An automatic gain control system, noise cut low frequency attenuation input filter, VOR (Volume Operated Recording) and a high-quality playback amplifier are also provided by this pocket-sized device.

Several features have been implemented in the design of the Mezzo to address the news of radio journalists, including instant start-up, one button recording, automatic level control, an internal loudspeaker and a low cut filter. All machine settings are programmed through the comprehensive menu system, where many features of the recorder can be adapted according to the user’s requirements. The Nagra Mezzo also features a miniature USB 2.0 port for transferring recordings to a PC or MAC without the need for additional software or drivers.
