The ADA-8XR is a high quality and flexible modular converter and processor, using dual path architecture design. The ADA-8XR enables 8-channel A-D and D-A conversion, format conversion, sample rate conversion and noise shaping. Can also be configured as a 16ch D-A or A-D. Prism Sound’s acclaimed DRE is built-in, giving 24-bit performance on 16-bit media. And ‘Over-Killer’ provides gentle limiting to ensure no overs. A number of interface modules are available including AES/EBU, Firewire, Pro Tools HD and DSD/SDIF-2.
