Based on the Soundcraft EPM series, the EFX12 is a 12-channel mixer with a built-in 24-bit Lexicon effects processor. The mixer features 12 mic/line channels with GB30 mic pres and 3-band swept-mid EQ, 2 stereo channels with 3-band EQ, TRS insert sockets, inserts on all mono inputs, 10-segment LED output metering and a headphone output. The effects section features 32 effects, tap tempo function, 3 effects parameter controls and a user effects setting store facility.
