The latest addition to RØDE’s range of on-camera microphones the Videomic Pro+ offers many new features previously unavailable to videographers and filmmakers at such an affordable price point.
These features include an automatic power function to automatically turn the microphone off when unplugged from the camera, built-in battery door for quick and easy changing of batteries, three power options (LB-1 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, 2 x AA batteries or Micro USB. Lastly, to ensure ultimate capture of the audio at the source RØDE have introduced new digital switching options including a 2-stage high pass filter, a 3-stage Gain control, a high frequency boost and a safety channel to prevent clipping when unexpected spikes occur.
