The new F4, a 6-input/8-track field recorder, offers creators Hollywood-quality sound for film at an unprecedented price. With four super-low-noise mic preamps, precise time code, and a solid metal build, the F4 is the ideal recorder for creators looking to take their filmmaking projects to the next level.
Like the multi-award-winning Zoom F8, the F4 is equipped with high-quality mic preamps, offering pristine recording and playback at resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz. For precise audio/video syncing, the F4 uses a Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) that generates time code at 0.2 ppm accuracy-a first at this price point.
Zoom Q2n is the most compact video camera for music recording. The handy video recorder gives musicians the power to create high-definition videos with great-sounding audio (up to 24-bit/96 kHz recording). It’s Ideal for capturing live performances and rehearsal sessions as the Q2n is equipped with a high-quality built-in X/Y microphone and a 160-degree wide-angle lens.
The F-Control FRC-8 is a brand new dedicated remote controller for Zoom’s F-series. The fully-featured mixing surface works intuitively with both F8 and F4 Field Multitrack Recorders.
The F-Control makes recording and mixing with the F-series Recorders simple with nine faders total (8 + Master), transport and fast access controls, such as Trim/Pan, and Track Arming. Adding to its ease of use are Track Scene edit buttons and programmable switches for monitoring channels and output levels.
The F-Control easily connects to both the F8 and F4 via a standard USB cable. The mixing unit is sleek and lightweight enough to fit into a gear bag and yet its durable metal chassis makes it suitable for the most demanding creators.
Martin O’Donnell, Director of Sales at HHB Communications, said: “We’re delighted Zoom is co-exhibiting with us at BVE 2017 and showcasing the F4, Q2n and F-Control FRC-8 for the first time in the UK.”
